Tangible Existence is an immersive fashion video installation combining TouchDesigner visuals, physical computing, and performance art. The project explores the tension between digital and physical existence, questioning whether technology enhances or diminishes authentic human experience.
The dress wirelessly lifts up and down, according to the section of the music, constraining or freeing the dancer.
The project is a collaboration between Amber Jiang (Designer), Carola Dixon (Projection design and mapping) and Jiatong Liu (Robotics integration). Filmed by Sam Hardman and performed by Teck Kroll.
